ABOUT ME!

INTRO😀

Hey, I’m Elliot Boswell, you know I’m mad about personal training, but what makes me tick?

I’d say in a general it’s cooking, competing, and self-improvement. I know I’ve made a big difference in who I am as a person, and feel so much better for it. Being able to have faith in myself is very fulfilling and I believe an extremely far-outreaching ability to have, which is what ultimately makes me generally adhere to a program, and wanting to self-improve day in, day out.

MY HOBBIES 🍳⛰️

My hobbies generally fall into fitness and cooking (yawn) but I get a huge amount of energy from interacting and chatting to people. I tend to avoid a lot of media in TV and films (bar MMA/boxing/BJJ) and rather switch off by a walk in nature listening to lofi hiphop (think DC and Lausse the Cat).

WHAT GOT ME HERE?

  • Started training boxing a bit later (17/18) as a way to lose weight and feel good.
  • Went to the Hatton academy and finished a pad work/boxing for fitness certification
  • Trained 6 years consistently at BJJ and Dutch style Kickboxing – blue belt 2 stripes at BJJ and blue again for kickboxing
  • Competed in BJJ in local competitions and competed in a super fight (1 10 minute round no points, only submissions)
  • I have been off from training martial arts since April 2022 and been into lifting for building muscle/rehabilitating an injury from martial arts.
  • I have achieved a level 3 in Personal Training from the PFCA

My sessions are fun, exciting and he let’s me talk about any worries or troubles I have, without judgment. He is a great listener and his teaching skills are brilliant by mentoring me at my own pace. I always look forward to our sessions and only with a few short months I have seen major progress of toning my body up, reducing stress and eating habits and just overall feeling good about myself.
